"Will you be my bridesmaid?"... it's a big deal, your friend is asking you to be part of her inner circle on the biggest day of her life.

But with this great honour, comes great responsibility. So here are some tips, tricks and ideas to help you be the best bridesmaid you can be.

Top Tips

  1. The brides choice is final // Don't think purple goes with your skin tone? Whilst the bride should think about the style that suits her bridesmaids, when it comes to the dress, it's just for one day, so its probably better not to stress her out about it.

  2. It's her hen do, not yours // You love a wild night out, but she prefers afternoon tea? Before the big day this is your biggest duty as a bridesmaid, and it's important to get it right, which in this context, means exactly what the bride loves to do.
  3. The little things mean the most // Make a playlist for the morning of the wedding that reminds her of the happy memories from the planning process. Keep little tokens from all of the appointments you've been to with her and give them to her as a wedding gift. How can she be nervous when she realises you have always, and will always be there for her?

HEN PARTY IDEAS

  1. For the competitive bride // Goofy Games. With so many locations to choose from. Goofy Games, a selection of colourful inflatables and wet and wild obstacles, is ideal for a fun filled, action packed afternoon and guaranteed laughter for everyone involved.

  2. For the music loving bride // Hen Fest. Create a complete mini music festival customized around the bride to be. Music you love, stunning locations to choose from, full glamping experience and the perfect way to celebrate close friendships and make incredible memories.

  3. The Gin lover // Learn about gin, drink lots of gin and take a delicious souvenir home created specially for each individual guest. A sophisticated afternoon leading into a possibly less sophisticated evening... Sounds good to us.

Whatever you do and however you do it, enjoy! Because these will be memories you share forever with the bride to be and fellow bridesmaids!
